Nigeria Under-23 Head Coach, Samson Siasia, has released his 21-man list for the Caf Under-23 Africa Cup of Nations that will start this weekend in Dakar, Senegal.
Fifa 2015 Under-17 World Cup highest goalscorer, Victor Osimhen, is included in the squad that also features three foreign-based players – Okechukwu Azubuike, Taiwo Awoniyi and Junior Ajayi.
Seun Olulayo, Godspower Aniefiok, Kufre Ebong and Zaharaddeen Bello, who are new entrants to the team, also made the squad for the tournament.
While announcing the squad, Siasia said he is sad he had to drop some players but only 21 players can make the squad for the tournament, which will be used to get Africa’s representatives for the 2016 Rio Olympics.
