The gubernatorial flag bearer of the Peoples Democratic Party in Plateau State, Senator G.N.S. Pwajok, has appealed to citizens of the state to support his party at local and National level.
Pwajok also stressed the need for the people to avoid politics of blackmail and ethnic bigotry.
Pwakok, who made the call when a youths vanguard donated a flat in support of his campaign, said: “I don’t think my vision was to develop the interest of my family but build confidence in the lives of Plateau people.”
He expressed confidence that if elected come 2015, the state will witness further widespread development across the three geopolitical zones.
He commended the youths for the offer and prayed God to lift them to greatness.
Earlier, the spokesman of the group and a businessman, Lucky Clement, had said: “The donation of the edifice to Senator Gyang Pwajok Campaign Organization is to support his dreams toward the general elections.”
Clement challenged youths to beware of politicians who are good in promoting ethnic and religious politics in the country.
He said: “We have promised to ensure that the best candidate emerges victorious in the forthcoming elections both in Plateau and at presidential.”
