MK Dons’ young star, Dele Alli, a rumoured transfer target for Liverpool and Newcastle United, has been named as one of the young players to watch in 2015.
Alli has already played more than 60 first team games even though he’s still 18 and he shot to national prominence earlier this season when he starred in the 4-0 thumping of Manchester United.
The Daily Mail names Alli among 10 young players in the Football League who have bright futures.
And its praise is glowing.
The Daily Mail said: “Courted by Liverpool, the heir apparent to Steven Gerrard possesses many qualities similar to that of the former England captain.
“With the strength and physique to play as a holding midfielder, Alli also has an eye for a goal with eight already to his name in League One this season.”
