Leicester City boss, Brendan Rodgers, has downplayed Kelechi Iheanacho’s penalty miss against Crystal Palace on Monday.
In his post match interview, the erstwhile Liverpool manager reinstated confidence in the ability of the forward to convert spot kicks.
Rodgers said: “I said at half time, it was one you have to let go of. He practised yesterday and hit five out of five, so he was confident, but it is just one of those things.
“I still feel we dominated the game with the changes we made but I’m pleased we kept fighting at the end.”
It can be recalled that Iheanacho missed a penalty kick in Super Eagles friendly against Tunisia in Austria.
