Four persons were yesterday killed and one injured in the no letup attack on Warri, Delta State by armed bandits.
According to reports available to The Eagle Online, the bandits struck at about 1.15pm along the Effurun-Sapele Road.
The gang of four came in a Toyota Camry, black colour, shooting and killing the four persons in the process of snatching the money one of those that was shot and killed just collected from Enterprise Bank
The name of the customer of Enterprise Bank who just withdrew the money that was snatched has been given as S. Clement.
Clement was in his red colour Toyota Carina car with registration number AQ 357 KPE.
Also shot dead was an accountant with Enterprise Bank, A. Kelechi, who was in a ash colour Nissan Sunny car with registration number Ep 343 KRD,
A commercial motorcycle operator, Josiah Damodu, was also shot dead by the armed bandits.
So also was a yet-to-be-identified woman killed during the operation.
The only survivor of the attack, O. Kalu, according to available information, is receiving treatment at the Naval Hospital, Effurun.
In the last few months, armed robbery has become a regular occurrence in Warri.
