Prince Tonye Princewill, a stalwart of the Peoples Democratic Party and one time Action Congress governorship candidate in the 2007 general poll in Rivers State, has declared that he will not get involved in any political tussle with President Goodluck Jonathan, especially “if I think that fight is not good enough”.
Princewill stated this during a Rhythm 93.7 FM current affairs, news, interview and phone-in programme, Viewpoint, where he talked on state, regional and national issues.
Princewill also said he did not fall out with Governor Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi of Rivers State because the governor no longer gives him contract.
He said: “No, I won’t use the word ‘fallen out’.
“There is a disagreement, a very fundamental disagreement.
“But you know I still consider him as a friend.
“Our communication is not like it used to be but I am not going to say that because we disagree on a political issue that everything is lost.
“No, it is not.
“I just simply refused to fight Goodluck Jonathan.
“I am not going to be part of that.”
