The young Germany international is emerging as one of the hottest transfer properties in Europe ahead of the January market.
Adeyemi’s minders have held talks with Bayern Munich in recent days as Salzburg become increasingly resigned to being forced to sell him over the New Year.
Sky Deutschland says Real Madrid have also intensified their interest as the club’s football directors spy the chance to sign Adeyemi at an affordable price before his profile explodes.
Salzburg are seeking to kickoff the auction at a starting price of €40 million.
Along with Adeyemi, Real Madrid are keen on his teammate Benjamin Sesko.
