Rangers International FC’s Manager, Amobi Ezeaku, announced on Monday that Rangers players had vowed to end the club’s 32-year professional league trophy drought.
Rangers are currently leading the NPFL table with 57 points and two matches to end the season.
Ezeaku told newsmen in Enugu that the current season presented the best time for the club to end its 32 years without silverware.
Ezeaku said: “We have one major nut to crack and that is our next match against Ikorodu United FC in Lagos.
“If we can get the three points in Lagos the league is almost over as it is going to be the decider of the league.
“The three points from Lagos would be a huge advantage to us over other title chasing clubs.
“Thank God our last match in the league will be at home.”
The team manager thanked Rangers’ fans for their maximum support to the club from the inception of the league this season.
Ezeaku promised that the club would do everything possible to win their remaining matches to put smiles on the faces of fans.
He also stated: “We want our fans to keep up the positive behaviour of good sportsmanship to ensure that Enugu centre maintained its status in the NPFL league.”
