The report said Globacom lost 973 subscribers, while 626 customers of Etisalat Nigeria ported to other networks at the same period.
A total of 5,850 telecoms users engaged in the porting-out exercise across the networks, in the last quarter of 2013.
However, the report said Etisalat enjoyed the exercise as it led the gainers’ list, with an additional 2,590 customers on its network in December 2013.
Airtel came second on the gainers’ list, as it added 2,410 subscribers to its customer strength.
Also on the gainers’ list, 1,170 subscribers moved into the MTN network, while Globacom gained 792 customers at the fourth quarter of 2013.
NAN reports that a total of 6,962 telecom service customers participated in the port-in activity in December 2013, as against 8,242 participants in November 2013.
The exercise was flagged off on April 22, 2013 by the NCC, with the aim of deepening competition in the industry.
