Operatives of Ijora Badia Division of the Lagos State Police Command have arrested four suspects who specialise in stealing vehicles and dismantling them for sale as spare parts.
This was revealed by the spokesman of the Command, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, on his Twitter handle on Saturday.
According to Hundeyin, operatives of the Alausa Police Division of the Command also at 2am arrested a traffic robber who had in his possession a locally fabricated toy gun and other dangerous items.
He said the suspect was arrested on Otedola Bridge, shortly after robbing a motorist of his valuables.
He said investigation was ongoing in the case.
