French whiz kid, Paul Pogba, has been adjudged the Man of the Match of the Les Bleus 2-0 win over Nigeria in Brazilia.
Pogba, who broke the deadlock in the 79th minute, heading into an empty net after Nigeria’s goalkeeper, Vincent Enyeama, failed to collect a corner, played for the entire 90 minutes, completing 57 passes in the encounter.
The Juventus striker also fired three shots to edge out Mattieu Vanbuena and Vincent Enyeama, who posted five-star performances for their countries.
Vanbuena was the chief tormentor for the French team, while Enyeama stood between the post to stop several scoring attempts at his goal.
