Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State was among those who joined President Muhammadu Buhari to deliver his address at the ongoing 77th Session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York, United States of America.
President Buhari delivered the address, his last as the Nigerian leader before his exit on May 29, 2022, on Wednesday.
Others apart from Sanwo-Olu at the UNGA session to witness Buhari deliver his address were Governor Bello Matawalle of Zamfara State; Borno State Governor, Prof. Babagana Zulum; Kwara State Governor, Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq; Plateau State Governor, Simon Lalong; Minister of Foreign Affairs, Godffrey Onyema; and Nigeria’s Permanent Representative to the UN, Prof. Tijjani Muhammad-Bande.
