A former National Treasurer of the Peoples Democratic Party, Alhaji Buhari Bala, and four local government chairmen of the party in Kebbi State have defected to the All Progressives Congress.
The top chieftain of the PDP and the LG bosses defected to the APC on Wednesday.
In announcing his defection, Bala also told the gathering where he was welcomed to the APC by the Kebbi State Governor, Atiku Bagudu, that he he was donating his 53 suit office plaza and 11 cars to President Muhammadu Buhari and the Atiku Bagudu Campaign Organization.
Bagudu and other APC leaders in the state, including the Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, welcomed the defectors at the flag-off of the APC governorship campaign held in Argungu Local Government Area of the state.
