The Peoples Democratic Party has constituted a three-man committee to resolve issues in the Edo State Chapter of the party.
This was announced in a statement by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Debo Ologunagba, on Wednesday.
According to Ologunagba, this was part of the resolutions reached at the 95th National Executive Committee meeting of the party held on Wednesday.
He listed the members of the Committee as Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue State, who will serve as Chairman, Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State and Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State.
The Edo State chapter of the party had been in turmoil in the last two weeks, resulting in a further face-off between the State Governor, Godwin Obaseki, and the Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike.
