As ailing actor, Kayode Odumosu, otherwise known as Pa Kasumu, battles to survive his cancer illness, some of his colleagues in the Association of Nigerian Theatre Arts Practitioners are allegedly at loggerheads over N600,000 donation made by an Ogun State top businessman.
A very dependable source told The Eagle Online that after a certain good spirited top businessman from Ogun State donated the said the amount to save the ailing Nollywood actor some weeks back, there has been an unending chaos among the colleagues.
It was learnt that Odumosu’s colleagues were at loggerheads over what amount was to be given to the ailing actor out of the sum as others disagreed with the decision.
Currently, N5.5 million has been donated to Odumosu by the Lagos State Government and the Ogun State Government to save the life of the veteran actor.
When contacted, members of the Odumosu family refused to comment.
They neither confirmed nor denied the story.
They maintained that the most paramount and important issue for the family the remains raising the remaining funds in order to save Odumosu’s life.
