Osimhen returns from Germany

Nigerian whiz kid, Victor Osimhen, returned to the country on Tuesday after holding contractual talks with Bundesliga outfit, Wolfsburg.
The player, who returned along with his adviser, Gaffar Liameed, and elder brother, Andrew, is prepared to compare another offer from Arsenal before taking a final decision on his move.
The German club has however promised the U17 World Cup star first-team football when he clocks 18.
The record-breaking Osimhen has visited Wolfsburg and a verbal agreement has been agreed between the German club and his representatives and he is expected to sign a professional contract next year December, when he will be 18.
Meanwhile, Liameed has denied the online report that he sent thugs to beat up the player’s father, Pa Patrick Osimhen.
He said: “I have handed the writer of that report to God because nothing close to beating anyone happened.
“Why would I beat up the old man up?
“Pa Osimhen is in great shape with his family, but I need to warn the reporter to desist from such act of face the wrath of the law.
“Such journalists, I’m sure have dumped their professional ethics in the trash can and it is so unfortunate and highly unacceptable.
“I believe they should verify before going to press instead of putting someone in the mud.”
Speaking further, the Chief Executive Officer of 36 Lion FC hinted that Osimhen had a verbal agreement with Wolfsburg but needs to compare Arsenal’s offer before taking a final decision.
He said: “Wolfsburg’s offer is tempting I must confess, but the player is young and needs time to consider all the offers on his table, which includes that of Arsenal.”
