Omeruo wants Middlesbrough return

Chelsea defender, Kenneth Omeruo, has said that he wants to return to Middlesbrough on loan next season.
The 20-year-old spent time on loan at the Riverside last season and did enough to force his way into Nigeria’s World Cup squad.
Omeruo played in all four of his country’s games in Brazil but it still remains unlikely for him to break into Chelsea’s first team next season with John Terry, Gary Cahill and Kurt Zouma ahead of him in the pecking order for the centre back spot.
Knowing that his chances of playing at Chelsea are slim, the former ADO Den Haag loanee welcomed talks of a return to Middlesbrough.
He said: “My time at Middlesbrough was one of the best experiences I’ve had in football and I enjoyed every moment of my time at the club.
“The Boro fans are amazing and I was impressed with the support they showed the team every week.
“I would like to return to Boro on loan but it’s not in my hands.”
