Former Super Eagles’ skipper, Austin Jay Jay Okocha, was the cynosure of all eyes after a superlative display in Bolton Wanderers legends charity game at the Macrom Stadium on Tuesday.
Okocha stole the show, scoring twice for both team and laying on a trademark showcase of trickery and skill for the thousands of fans in attendance.
The first of Okocha’s goals was a throwback to his playing days, with the Nigerian midfielder slinking in from the left before bending an absolute pearler inside the near post from 20 yards out.
The two sides were captained by John McGinlay and Tony Kelly as they square off to raise money for the club’s Supporters and Community Trusts.
