The National Identity Management Commission (NIMC), has approved the distribution of additional enrollment systems to all the States of the Federation.
This was announced in a statement signed by the Agency’s Head, Corporate Communications, Kayode Adegoke, in Abuja.
The Director-General, Abisoye Odusote – Coker, the statement indicated, gave the approval, saying that it was part of steps to ease NIN enrollment challenges and increase operational capacity.
The additional enrolment devices underscores the commitment of the NIMC to streamline operations and enhance overall effectiveness.
Odusote-Coker said the systems had been installed and in use across the State states and resulted in the reduction of time spent by applicants in accessing the service.
She said monitoring and evaluation teams were sent across various centres nationwide to ensure a smooth running of enrolment and modification exercises.
“The team will also ensure strict compliance with her zero tolerance stance against all forms of extortion and unethical practices,” Coke-Odusote said.
