A top notch friendly match has been scheduled between Shooting Stars Sports Club of Ibadan, Oyo State and Ajiroba Ooni Football Club of Ile-Ife, Osun State to satisfy the wants of football fans across the ancient city in continuation of the coronation programme of the new Ooni of Ile-Ife, Oba Enitan Adeyeye Ogunwusi.
The match, tagged: “Coronation Match,” to appease lovers of football in Ile-Ife, will be decided at the Obafemi Awolowo University Sports Complex on December 5, 2015 by 9am.
“It is better to give football lovers a chance for them to take part in this historical event,” said Otunba Rasaq Mustapha, the Ajiroba Ooni of Ile-Ife.
The friendly match will be attended by leading figures in the world of football and host of sports personalities among who are Chief Taiwo Ogunjobi and Chief Adegboyega Onigbinde.
The last time the two sides played the scoreline ended 2-1 in favour of the Oluyole Warriors.
