NAPA appeals to President Jonathan over Oduah

The Nigerian Aviation Professionals Association has appealed to President Goodluck Jonathan to allow the Minister of Aviation, Princess Stella Oduah, to continue her transformation of the industry.
The appeal was contained in a statement signed by Abdulrasak Seidu, the General Secretary of NAPA, one of the stakeholders in the aviation industry.
It was made available to aviation correspondents in Lagos on Monday.
“From our private investigation, we discovered that the aviation sector was one of the most developed in Nigeria under the present President Goodluck Jonathan-led administration,” NAPA said.
It added: “Also for the first time in Africa’s history, Oduah’s tenure as the Aviation Minister has produced Dr. Olumuyiwa Aliu as the President, International Civil aviation Organisation.
“With the rehabilitation of the airports and the upgrading of the navigational facilities, she is working hard to sustain Nigeria’s category one status.”
NAPA, therefore, appealed to President Jonathan to discountenance the antics of a few “enemies of the nation” who were plotting her downfall by attacking her most faithful and productive loyalists.
