Four children from the same father were on Saturday killed by a mudslide in Orisha area of Isheri-Magodo, Ojodu, Lagos State.
Three of the children are of the same mother, while one belongs to the man’s second wife.
Information provided by the National Emergency Management Agency has it that a mudslide slipped from a hill onto a three bedroom bungalow building, causing a partial collapse of building.
The four children were said to have been trapped.
However, rescue efforts failed as all four were brought out dead.
Their details were given as Sylva Odiah, 23; Sayo Odiah, 15; Clinton Odiah, 11; and Endurance Odiah, eight.
The woman who gave birth to three of the deceased, was said to have sustained minor injury and rushed to Yaba General Hospital for treatment.
The eldest wife, Felicia Odiah, also had minor bruises and was given First Aid treatment, NEMA said.
