Rory McIlroy has reportedly popped the question to his girlfriend, Erica Stoll, in Paris, France.
The pair are currently enjoying a romantic getaway in the city of love and now sources are claiming the pair are engaged to be married.
Rory shared a picture of the couple’s view of the Eiffel Tower last night where couples the world over have proposed.
“Don’t be surprised if you hear he pops the question. It’s going very, very well,” a source said.
“She’s a really, really nice girl. Very nice and down to earth, and the one thing everyone is saying is how good she is for Rory.
“I wouldn’t be surprised if they do tie the knot. You just need to see the way he looked at at her. He’s over over heels.”
This is the second engagement for Rory after he previously split from former fiance, Caroline Wozniacki, in a 10-minute phone call.
