Liverpool are showing keen interest in Germany U16 international striker Karim Adeyemi.
The talented teenager has caught the eye with his performances for SpVgg Unterhaching U19s and for the national side.
Premier League scouts watched him make an immediate impact for Germany back in February when he played in a development tournament against Holland, Italy and Portugal.
The 16-year-old is left-footed, has pace and scores goals. He can play as a striker or on the wing.
Chelsea and Manchester City were among the clubs to make initial approaches while there was also interest from Juventus and Roma.
However, Liverpool and Red Bull Leipzig are understood to be the clubs that have persisted with Adeyemi and are pushing to sign him this summer.
Adeyemi is interested in coming to England despite his tender years and that could give Liverpool the edge if they can agree terms with his club.
