Lasun joins Labour Party to contest Osun governorship election

Yusuf Lasun, former Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, has joined the Labour Party.

The development comes days after the former lawmaker resigned his membership of the All Progressives Congress.

Lasun had dumped the ruling party hours before the National Convention of the APC, which was held on March 26.

The former Deputy Speaker had contested the APC governorship primary on February 19, 2022.

He was one of those who lost to the incumbent, Gboyega Oyetola.
