The Computer and Allied Products Dealers Association of Nigeria is set to hold its maiden edition of Computer Village Fair Promo and offer 40 per cent discount on some ICT products on December 18.
The News Agency of Nigeria reports that the Fair Promo would usher in a three-day carnival, which will be held from December 18 to December 20.
In an interview with NAN on Friday in Ikeja, Chairman of the Organising Committee, Iyke Nwosu, said the Fair was put together to appreciate customers by offering discount.
He said that some of the products that would available at the promo price include Hp laptops, Techno Iphones, among others.
According to Nwosu, the Fair also aimed at creating popular awareness that the Computer Village remains the safest and biggest technological hub where quality products can be purchased and at affordable prices.
He said: “Every year we have this Computer Village carnival; so we decided on how to make the 2018 carnival better than the previous ones and we came up with setting aside a day, out of the three days, for the Fair.
“We want to use it as a platform to promote Computer Village as a place where people can come in and feel safe; because most times, people are scared to come into the hub.
“We want to use it as an opportunity to market the village for people to experience the sight and sound of the place where their ICT requirements would be met at very competitive prices.
“There would be security as well as tour guides on shirts for identification to direct people to their needs.
“We will be having people to sell their products on promo price up to 40 per cent discount which will be for only one day, December 18.”
He added that the phones and all the ICT products would be of quality with warranty period.
