The management of Kwara United FC of Ilorin has given its technical crew a three-match ultimatum to shape up or be sanctioned.
The General Manager of the club, Alhaji Haruna Maigidansanma, told journalists in Ilorin on Tuesday told that the Tunde Abdulrahman-led crew must pick at least seven points from a possible nine in its next three games or be shown the way out.
The next three matches are away to Bayelsa United on June 28, home to Enyimba on July 1 and another away game against FC Taraba on July 5.
Maigidansanma said the decision was arrived at after a meeting with the technical crew late on Monday during a review of the 1-1 draw against Lobi Stars of Makurdi in Ilorin on Sunday in a Match Day 13 encounter of the Nigeria Professional Football League.
Maigidansanma added that the management will only be ready to work with a team of officials and players that will justify the huge investment on the team and not those that will only be collecting salaries without any justification for it.
The Kwara United manager maintained that the target at the beginning of the season was to see the team play on the continent at the end of the current season and that the management will not settle for anything less.
He told reporters that the 1-1 draw against Lobi was unacceptable to him and other management staff because there was no reason for that to happen.
