Homicide detectives attached to Tolu Police Station, Ajegunle, Lagos State have commenced investigation into the murder of a man who was found in a pool of his blood.
Residents of the area, where the body was dumped, woke up on Wednesday morning to see the corpse.
The identity of the man is yet unknown.
He was dumped close to Boundary-Tolu Bridge.
Passersby were said to have gathered to catch a glimpse of the corpse to ascertain his identity but to no avail.
One Mr. Chukwudi disclosed that he walked past the bridge around 10pm on Tuesdaybut did not see the corpse.
A woman who sells fruit on top of the bridge said she left the place around 10.30pmbut did not see the corpse until the following day.
A police sergeant attached to Tolu Police Station disclosed that they were still investigating to know how the man died and who killed him.
A police source said: “By the grace of God, police will arrest his killers and bring them to book.
“Anybody who kills somebody will not go scout free because God will expose him or her.”
