Stand-in Super Eagles handler, Stephen Keshi has sensationally raised the alarm over risky the World football governing body, FIFA ban on Nigeria before the Nations Cup qualifying tie against Sudan.
Keshi, who held a closed doors meeting with the Honourable Minister, Dr Tammy Danagogo in Abuja on Tuesday, drew this assertion following a court order stopping the Nigeria Football Federation Congress held last week in Warri, Delta state,
His words: “If actually the court order has been served, it means we might not play the game against Sudan because what it means is that FIFA might ban Nigeria. I repeat, if they so do that, we may not play the game against Sudan.
“We have to ask NFF what the situation place Nigeria. It is not about signing my contract but about FIFA suspending Nigeria and if they do, we are gone because there will be no sorry this time.
Keshi who joined the inspection team of the Abuja National Stadium also gave vote of confidence to the stadium to host Eagles matches, stressing that there is an improvement from its past.
“I want to say that there is some possibility that the Super Eagles can use the Abuja National Stadium for the Nations Cup qualifiers.
