The event which, is the 4th Regional Conference of the Catholic media practitioner of Nigeria has the Sacred Heart Pastoral centre in Jos, the Plateau state capital as the venue.
Top dignitaries being expected to attend and present talks includes the Director National film Institute, Jos Dr. Teddy Hanmakugh, Zonal Director FRCN, Kaduna, Mallam Abba Zayyan and the Director of communications of the Abuja catholic Diocese Rev. Dr. Patrick Alumuku.
The Conference with the theme: “contemporary media and social issues” is also expected have in attendance members of the plateau state Executive council to be lead by the commissioner for information and communication, Barr. Mrs. Olivie Dazyem.
A programme released by the Planning committee and jointly signed by the National coordinator (North) Patrick Osu and secretary, Jos Arch diocesan chapter, Christy Gokyo indicates that invited quest will arrived Pastoral centre Thursday evening while the conference will commence Friday by 7am with mass service to be conducted by the ArchBishop, Most Rev Ignatius Kaigama.
According to the statement, the CBCN chairman of communications, Bishop Emmanuel Badejo of the Catholic secretariat of Nigeria and practitioners from the entire northern Catholic diocese are expected at the event

It will be recalled that similar conferences had been held in Kaduna, Minna and Benue states.
