Labari Tella, Kaduna State House Assembly member, has condemned in strong terms the gruesome murder of Agom Adara, Late Maiwada Galadima demanding that perpetrators fished out and made to face the wrath of the law.
The News Agency of Nigeria recalled that the late Agom Adara, Mr Maiwada Galadima was murdered last Friday by his abductors after holding him hostage for a week.
Tella in an interview with NAN on Monday condoled with the family of the deceased, Adara community, Southern Kaduna and the entire State over the demise of the Mornach.
He described the late Agom Adara as an elder-statesman per excellence, adding that the Nation had lost one of its illustrious sons.
He said: “The late Agom Adara would be remembered for his accommodating spirit, equity and fairness and most importantly fear of God.
“One cannot help but comment on his uncommon intelligence and objectivity on especially matters that promotes peaceful coexistence.”
The Legislator said although the manner with which the Paramount ruler died was painful, he admonished the bereaved community to take solace in God believing the truth of an everlasting life hereafter.
He, then, urged authorities concerned to rise to its responsibility towards the protection of lives and property across the State and also expedite investigation in arresting and prosecution of perpetrators of the dastardly act to serve as deterrent to others.
