Just In: Suspected gunmen kill four mining workers in Plateau

Suspected gunmen Saturday evening killed four workers at a mining site in Dong village, Plateau State.

Reports said the attackers stormed the village and shot dead the workers at the site.

A woman was said to have escaped the onslaught by whiskers, but she is presently receiving treatment in the hospital.

A community leader, Emmanuel Dong, has confirmed the sad incident.

Similarly, the Plateau State Police Command PRO, ASP Gabriel Ubah has confirmed the attack to The Nation, affirming the casualty number.
