Iwobi injured, out for weeks

Nigerian international, Alex Iwobi, has picked a thigh injury, which would keep him out for a few weeks.

Iwobi suffered the injury in Arsenal’s 4-3 loss to Liverpool at the Emirates over the weekend.

On his twitter handle, @alexiwobi, the youngster tweeted: “Disappointing result, gotta pick our heads up and go again … Hopefully, my thigh strain isn’t too serious GodWilling

Iwobi remains a doubt for next weekend’s clash away to reigning champions, Leicester City, at the King Power Stadium.

Iwobi scored twice in 13 appearances for the Gunners in his last season.

Welsh international, Aaron Ramsey, is due for a scan after suffering a hamstring strain in the tie.
