One of the aircraft in the fleet of IRS Airlines on Wednesday collided with a fuel tanker on the runway of the Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos, Nigeria.
The aircraft, which was taxiing for a scheduled flight from Lagos to Abuja, had one of its wings broken by the impact of the collision.
The flight was cancelled.
It was learnt that no one was hurt on board the flight and in the articulated vehicle.
Normal flight services have since been restored at the airport.
Investigation was also said to have commenced into the incident.
The Head, Public Relations, National Emergency Management Agency, Yushau Shuaib, confirmed the development.
