Returnee Super Eagles’ striker, Ikechukwu Uche, is back in the starting line up of the African champions in their all-important AFCON 2015 qualifying clash against the Red Devils of Congo in Pointe Noire on Sunday.
The in-form Villarreal of Spain forward is making a return to the Super Eagles fold after two years of absence due to altercation with the team’s handler, Stephen Keshi.
Uche last played for Nigeria at Afcon 2013 final against Burkina Faso, where they emerged champions.
Nigeria has in goal Vincent Enyeama, while Efe Ambrose, Azubuike Egwuekwe, Godfrey Oboabona and Juwon Oshaniwa will provide cover in the defence.
Egwueke dropped Kenneth Omeruo to the bench.
Chelsea star, John Obi Mikel, will marshal the midfield alongside Ogenyi Onazi, Hope Akpan, while Ahmed Musa, Emmanuel Emenike and Ikechukwu Uche hunt for goals in the attack.
Nigeria are currently third on log with four points.
