The Inspector General of Police, Mr Mohammed Abubakar, on Wednesday
confirmed Chief Superintendent of Police Frank Mba, as the Force
Public Relations Officer.
Until the confirmation, Mba was the Deputy Force Public Relations Officer.
Mba assumed the position of force deputy spokesman in January 2012.
Between 2007 and 2011, he was the Police Public Relations Officer for
Lagos Command.
Mba studied law at the University of Lagos, Akoka, between 1995 and
2000 and graduated with an LLB Degree (Second Class Upper Division).
He enlisted into the police in May, 1992 as a cadet Inspector.
Mba was promoted to the rank of Assistant Superintendent of Police in
1999, Deputy Superintendent of Police in 2003, and Superintendent of
Police in 2006.
He also rose to Chief Superintendent of Police in 2012.
