I want Collabo with Wizkid, Burner Boy on Kontrol track – Emex EOT

Afrobeat Pop star, Emex EOT, says his greatest dream as an artiste is to do a collaboration with Wizkid on the remix of his new single, “Kontrol’’.
Emex EOT, born Emmanuel Thompson, told the News Agency of Nigeria on Wednesday in Lagos that he was dreaming that because he had been informed that he sounded like Wizkid.
The Afrobeat star told NAN that he would like a collaboration with him and “Burner Boy’’ who were international super stars.
He said: “People who listen to my new single Kontrol often screamed and say that I sounded like Wizkid, and it will be my greatest joy to do a remix of Kontrol with him.
“Wizkid is a super star and one of my role models in the industry. It will be a dream come true to collaborate with him and Burner Boy in the near future.
“Other artistes that I hope to sing with are 2Face, Tiwa Savage and Davido, all these are people who have been in the music scene for long and I can really learn a lot from them.
“I have consistently followed his progress in the music scene and I love his style of music. Afrobeat is Nigerian and Nigerians understand the beat.’’
Emex EOT, who has just made a comeback with Kontrol, which is the second single in the two years of his professional music career, said that music was his life.
He told NAN that he wished to promote the African vibe and culture through his music.
He added: “There is a different twist to my music because I am trying to promote and portray the African style just like Fela did with his kind of music to promote the African culture.’’
