Up-and-coming trap and drill artist, Keffie Gideon, aka Vancash Dollar, has said that coming back to Nigeria during the conflict in Cameroon made him a singer.
According to Dollar in an interview he granted a radio station, he started making music to express himself.
He stated that after several bouts of failure to clinch the spotlight, he never looked back on his decision.
He noted that for him, music became the only one direction his life compass tilted towards.
Dollar said that music is the underlying ingredient of hope and faith that has continued to spice his tracks from his breakout EP: “Preety Lil Drip.”
Speaking during an interview, the Cross River State artist gave more insights into his breakout struggles, getting mentored by friends, loved ones and other big names in the music industry as well as finding joy in inspiring others.
However, finding his way into the music industry was not easy.
The trap star has more to prove after showing the whole world his ability to jump on not only trap but hip-hop and drill music too.
