Rivers State governor, Siminalayi Fubara, announced a N25 million reward for members of the State’s Basketball Club, Rivers Hoopers following their impressive outing at the 2024 Basketball Africa League where they finished third.
Fubara said this at a grand reception for the team held at the Rivers State Government House in Port Harcourt on Wednesday.
The Governor hopes that this gesture will serve as a motivation for the KingsMen who finished third at the just concluded Basketball Africa League.

Rivers Hoopers defeated Cape Town Tigers of South Africa to finish third at this year’s BAL in Kigali, Rwanda.
