The Federal Executive Council will, on Wednesday, consider a proposal for the variation of the contract sum for supply of foodstuff and cooking gas to the country’s prisoners.
The FEC agenda, obtained by The Eagle Online, showed that the contract variation proposal would be presented by the Minister of Interior at the weekly meeting on Wednesday.
Apart from the prisoners’ contract variation, FEC will also consider a contract for the augmentation of power supply to Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos.
The proposed contract for the 220-bed General Hospital for Gwarimpa in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja is also on the agenda of the FEC meeting to be presided over by President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan.
Also up for discussion is the revised contract sum for the building to house the Code of Conduct Bureau.
It is a nine-storey building to be located in Abuja.
