The much-anticipated Super Eagles 23-man Brazil 2014 World Cup list is expected to be made public on Monday (today), which is FIFA’s deadline for the submission of the list.
With the list to be read on Monday, our source at the Super Eagles camp in the United States of America hinted that despite the players giving a good account of themselves in training, they are not sure of making the final squad to Brazil.
The source added that the players are in panic as they await the final decision of the Stephen Keshi-led technical crew.
The source said: “We are all in suspense here because no one except the coaches has an idea of what the list looks like.
“So, we are patiently waiting for them to read it to us.
“While a few are sure of making the final cut to Brazil, most others are patiently waiting to know if they will eventually make the team.”
Meanwhile, the African champions will on Tuesday in Pennsylvania tackle their Greece counterparts in a friendly after their two-all draw against Scotland in London.
For Nigeria, the match may represent an opportunity to give the more tried and tested players an outing.
