The Progressive Peoples Alliance governorship candidate in Anambra State, Dr. Godwin Ezeemo, has been described as one of most humble but diligent candidates for the Anambra State Government House.
Briefing journalists in Abuja on his party’s preparations for the governorship election in Anambra State, the PPA National Chairman, Chief Sam Nkire, said the entrance of Ezeemo was a game changer in the race, which promises to be very interesting.
According to Nkire, a PPA government in Anambra State would ensure that the peoples’ welfare as well as protection of lives and property would be given top priority by Ezeemo.
He said with Ezeemo as governor, the people of Anambra State would regain their past glory as the regional factory of Nigeria and West Africa in general.
The PPA boss told his audience that Ezeemo’s industry and visionary capacity was well known at home and abroad, adding that an industrious people should only be governed by a knowledgeable and hard working man.
Nkire added that once the people of Anambra State were not able to make the right choice in terms of the right person to rule over them, they were bound to regret their not choosing Ezeemo.
He, however, advised Ezeemo to shun partisanship and go from door-to-door to sell himself to the people.
According to him, the people of Anambra State were in a hurry to break from their ugly past.
