One time Commissioner of Finance in Plateau State during the administration of Governor Jonah Jang, Davou Mang, has joined the list of aspirants seeking elective positions in the 2019 general elections.
The ex-Commissioner, who is eyeing representing Barkin Ladi/Riyom Federal Constituency, has formally picked, filled and submitted his form to the Peoples Democratic Party.
Mang expressed confidence about his victory in the 2019 election.
He sued for sustained prayers and counsel of his constituents to enable him deliver on his mandate after the polls.
Speaking on behalf of the party, the Organizing Secretary of the State PDP, Hon. Yakubu Gwott, pledged a level playing field for all aspirants, advising the ex-Commissioner to eschew bitterness in his campaign.
The PDP secretariat is agog with beehive of activities, as party supporters throngs in their thousands in support of aspirant coming to express their interest.
