Former Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Prince Adetokunbo Kayode, has expressed shock and despair over the sudden demise of Chief James Ocholi, the late Minister of State for Labour.
Reacting to a condolence visitation by the Abuja chapter of the Nigeria Bar Association, the former Attorney General described the late minister as an astute professional who distinguished himself as a legal practitioner.
Kayode said in a statement: “Our late friend is a diligent solicitor, advocate and senior member of the bar.
“He is one of the finest practitioners to ever emerge in the nation’s legal profession.”
Kayoed noted that the Nigeria Bar Association has lost a gem even as he commiserated with the AGF and Minister of Justice and members of the Federal Executive Council over the sad exit of Ocholi.
Meanwhile, the Abuja branch of the NBA said the death of the Minister was a rude shock to the bar, condoling “the President, Government of Kogi State, the Body of Senior Advocates of Nigeria, and the President of the Nigerian Bar Association”.
