Emmanuel Emenike’s 90th-minute winner earned Fenerbahce a 2-1 win at Kayseri Erciyesspor, which sent the club four points clear at the top of the Super Lig.
Moussa Sow put Fener ahead after nine minutes, but Randall Azofeifa levelled midway through the first half.
Emenike, who was introduced in the 77th minute, grabbed the last-gasp winner to extend the visitor’s lead.
The win lifted it four points ahead of Besiktas, which has two games in hand.
Emenike scored twice in Addis Ababa as African champions, the Super Eagles, defeated Ethiopia 2-1 in the first leg of the 2014 Fifa World Cup qualifier.
The striker shoots all from 25 yards to beat Tassew in Ethiopia’s goal.
With a minute to time, Hailu Reda Aynalem upended Emenike in the box for a late penalty.
The African Cup of Nations highest goal scorer stepped up and scored the winner by sending the Ethiopian goalkeeper the wrong way.
