The Eko Electricity Distribution Plc on Wednesday said that there will be seven houra power supply interruption to some areas within its network in Lagos on Thursday .
This was contained in a statement issued and signed by Godwin Idemudia, the Assistant General Manger (Public Affairs) of the company.
The statement said that the interruption will take place between 10am and 4pm.
The statement said that the planned power outage was occasioned by routine maintenance work to be carried out on line two of Ajah-Alagbon 132kv line.
According to the statement, areas to be affected by the outage are Ikoyi, Victoria Island, Obalende and Lagos Island.
The statement further stated that the routine maintenance to be carried out was for better efficiency of its facilities so as to enhance improved service delivery to its customers.
The company appealed to its customers to please bear with it for the inconvenience the outage may cause adding that supply would be restored as soon as the maintenance work is concluded.
