To douse ongoing speculations over which of the Europe-based stars will make the national team list for the Nations Cup clash against the Lone Stars of Liberia, Head Coach of the Super Eagles, Stephen Keshi, has revealed that the list will be officially made public on Thursday in Abuja.
Keshi refused to give any further details about those who will make the list but added that names of players have already been forwarded to the NFF Technical Committee and they have made their input to the list, adding for the umpteenth time that only players who are in form and play regularly for their club sides will be called upon for the September 8 clash in Monrovia.
When announced, the players are expected to complement the home-based side that has been in camp in the last two weeks and played an international friendly last week against the Menas of Niger Republic in Niamey, which ended goalless.
Meanwhile, former Director General of the National Orientation Agency, Mallam Idi Farouk, visited the Super Eagles Bolton White Apartment camp on Tuesday afternoon in what Coach Keshi described as a Sallah visit from a friend and supporter of the national team.
Faouk, who came in at about 2pm, said he was there to support the team in their quest to qualify for the South Africa 2013 Nations Cup and the Brazil 2014 World Cup after missing out of the last edition of the African championship hosted by Equatorial Guinea and Gabon.
