The national U-23 men’s football team, Dream Team VI, in the early hours of Friday landed in the Zambian capital of Lusaka for the crucial return leg game of the All Africa Games.
The Nigerian delegation, led by the Deputy Secretary General, Technical, Dr. Emmanuel Ikpeme, touched down at the Kenneth Kaunda International Airport at about 1am local time to the welcoming hands of officials of the Nigerian Embassy, led by the Consular Officer, Shuaibu Ali.
The delegation were immediately driven to their Golden Peacock Hotel, Lusaka in hired buses organized by the embassy as there was no official of the Football Association of Zambia on ground to receive them team.
The team had its first training session at about 3.30pm local time, which is 2.30pm in Nigeria.
