Dolphins resume after Christmas break

Players of Dolphins FC have returned to camp after a three-day break given to them by the management of the team for the Christmas
Media Officer of the club, China Acheru informed the sporting press that the management of the club decided on that because of the task ahead.
Acheru said: “Yes there is still uncertainty as regards when the league will start but we are sure it will be a long season ahead so there was no need keeping them in camp throughout the festive season.
“A three-day break from 24th to 27th December wouldn’t have hurt the team and that is why we decided to give them some time to visit and spend time with their families.
“We expect them in camp from Thursday, December 27 and training resumes on Friday.”
Dolphins won the League in the 2010/11 season but in their title defence season, needed a win against Rising Stars on the last day of the campaign to avoid relegation.
Dolphins have won the Nigerian League three times and FA Cup four times in its 22-year history.
