‘Diamond In The Sky’ set for screening

The coalition of First Ladies of Cross Rivers, Ekiti, Enugu, Kebbi, Niger and Ondo States, which also has the former First Ladies of Kwara, Ogun and Oyo States as members, will be having a one-day event in commemoration of the Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
The event is a fund raiser and will include viewing of an advocacy movie.
FLAC, as the body is known, is set to screen “Diamonds In The Sky”, a movie aimed at creating awareness on issues surrounding breast cancer and provide education to as many women as possible on how to ultimately save them from untimely deaths.
Already, the movie has claimed seven nominations at the Best of Nollywood awards, the most consistent Nollywood award in Nigeria, slated to hold in December 2019.
It also picked up eight nominations at the Golden Movies Awards, Ghana; two at Africa Movie Academy Awards; and won the Best Directors category at Toronto International Nollywood Film Festival.
“Diamond In The Sky” would be privately screened on October 27, 2019 at the popular Harbour Point, Victoria Island, Lagos.
This event is sponsored by corporate organisations.
The movie was written by internationally acclaimed writer, Tunde Babalola, and features topnotch Nollywood talent such as Joke Silva, Ali Nuhu, Yvonne Jegede Fawole, Mogaji Majinyawa, Yemi Shodimu, Prof .Ayo Akinwale and Ebun Oloyede.
With confirmed attendance of wives of serving and ex-governors, NGO executives, cast and crew, the show will kick off by 4pm.
